After a lengthy struggle with cancer, Maria passed away at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, August 6, 2007 at the age of 55.
She was the beloved wife of Tony Kuzma of Kitchener. Loving mother of Veronica Kuzma, John Kuzma and Tanya Kuzma (Sean Hodgson). Proud grandmother of Matthew. Dear sister of Angela, Janez, Frank, Kristina, Joze, Stefka, Rafko and Jurij.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mate and Angela Kobetic; her sister, Ana and her brother, Mirko.
Maria's family received friends and relatives at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Family prayers were offered at the funeral home on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener at 11 a.m.
Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
Vigil prayers were held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.
