Born [January] 20, 1891, Salt Lake City, to Samuel S. and Mary Ann Spriggs Leaver. Married Mary Cannon in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1916. Retired Army major. Served in the Philippines during WW II.
Survivors; wife, Burbank; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Otterstrom, Burbank; Mrs. Richard V. (Pat) Thiriot, Salt Lake City.
Graveside services Friday, 23 February, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Family requests contributions to cancer research in lieu of flowers.
