William Tibbets, 64 to Be Buried Sunday in
Cemetery at Rudd
RUDD, IOWA - Rites will be held Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. S. J. Baldwin officiating, for William Tibbets, 64, who died at his home three miles north and one mile west of Rudd following a stroke suffered a week ago at the George Squire farm. Mr. Tibbets was working on the Squire farm at the time he was stricken.
Wednesday he was moved to his home. He died there early Friday morning.
Surviving are his widow and 11 children. Burial will be in Rudd cemetery.

*William E. Tibbets was the son of George Tibbets and Charlotte A. Conner. He was born April 1874 in Mitchell County and died 1940.

CONDUCT RITES FOR RUDD MAN
Hold Last Services in Methodist Church for William Tibbits
RUDD--Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church for William Tibbits with the Rev. S.J. Baldwin in charge, Paul Stalker sang with Lois Stalker as accompanist.
On the flower committee were Mrs. Harry Schrader and Mrs. Hannah Cree. Pallbearers were Roger and Truman Squiers, Roger and Lawrence Tibbits, Darell Bass and Delbert Brierly. Burial was in the Rudd cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, four sons, George M. of Rock Falls, William E. of Clear lake, Harold E. and Leonard T. of Nora Springs,, five daughters, Mrs. Adda Brierly and Mrs. Gertrude Sanford of Nora Springs, Mrs. Opal Squiers of Floyd, Mrs. Emma Bass of Charles City and Mrs. Fleta Bistline of Rock Falls, three sisters, Mrs. E.M. Peters of Lincoln, Nebr., Mrs. Rosa Graham and Mrs. Frank Weaverling of Nora Springs.
