Tibbitts* Services Held in Rudd Church
RUDD--Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon for Leonard Tibbits at the Rudd Methodist church with the Rev. Sterling J. Baldwin in charge. Burial was in the Rudd cemetery.
Leonard Tusler Tibbits was born Feb 27, 1914, at Rudd. His parents were William and Ida Tibbits. On Nov. 11, 1941, he was married to Verda Alice Moss of Mason City, He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Joseph, one half brother James, and one half sister, Lucy.
He is survived by his mother, his widow, one half brother. George, of Nora Springs, and five sisters. Mrs. Adda Brierly of Nora Springs, Mrs. Ernest Bass of Rockford, Mrs. Darrell Sanford of Nora Springs. Mrs. Opal Squier of Floyd and Mrs. Fleta Bistline of Rock Falls.
