James Arnold Gilbert Buried at Hopewell
Short graveside services were held at Hopewell Cemetery, Normangee, November 28 for James Arnold Gilbert, 32 who was fatally injured the previous Friday when a horse fell on him at Cleveland where he lived.
Riddle Funeral Home was in charge of interment there. He died November 26; funeral services were held at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, at 10:00 a. m.
He has a number of relatives in Madison County. Other survivors include his wife , Ester of Cleveland and four small sons, Rayburn Arnold, Cecil Doyle, Thomas Lynn and David Lee; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Gilbert of Cleveland; a brother Raymond Gilbert, of George; and two sisters, Mrs. Enice Murl Hodges of Houston and Miss Martha Bell Gilbert of Cleveland.
