Mrs. Laura M. Thompson

Laura M. Thompson, 88, 1409 Albert St., died in the Jameson Memorial Hospital at 5:?? p.m. Thursday after an extended illness. She had been hospitalized for one month. Born in Butler County, Sept. 1873 daughter of Peter J. and Catherine (Schauppe) Oesterling, she was married to Charles R. Thompson, June 29, 1898. Her husband preceded her in death.

A member of St. John Lutheran Church, she was a charter member of the Victory Bible Class and a life member of the Women's Missionary Society.

Surviving are the children: Mrs. Leslie (Marian) Rawle, Aliquippa; Mrs. Elmer (Helen) McClymonds, New Castle; Mrs. Alice Bauman, Morristown, N. J.; Mrs. Joseph (Elizabeth) Lockley, Butler; 20 grandchidren and 20 great-grand
children; one sister, Mrs. William Miller, Butler.

Also preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents were: two sons, Fred Thompson, Rev. Charles O. Thompson, a daughter, Mrs. Grace Bost. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home, 909! Adams St., today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. services will be conducted in the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Rev. V. Theodore Benson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
