Peyton W. Stultz, Jr., a former citizen of Martinsville, died suddenly last night from a hemorrage at the home of his brother, James L. Stultz on Broad St.
Mr. Stultz was about 60 years old and has been in ill health for some time. His funeral took place Tuesday at the home of his brother Frank B. Stutz, and interment was in Oakwood cemetery. Relatives surviving Mr. Stultz are his wife, Mrs. Etta Stultz of Hattiesburg, Miss.; his sisters, Mesdames Joe Pace, C. S. Austin of Martinsville; Will Motley of Lone Oak; his brothers Messrs. Jas. L. Stultz, Frank B. Stultz, John W. Stultz, all of Martinsville; Louis G. Stultz and Holman Stultz of Roanoke; H. T. Stultz of Hampton.
Mr. Peyton Stultz left Martinsville some years ago and located in Mississippi where he married and lived on a farm near McLaurin. He was a successful dealer in cattle and also had a splendid farm. Because of declining health, he left the farm a few months ago and came to visit relatives here. The out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Lucy Harlow, Roanoke; Messrs Louis G. and Holman Stultz, Roanoke; and Mrs. Will Motley, Lone Oak.
