August Pankow, 69, Merrill Route 3 in town of Schley, Wis.
died at 3:30 am today in Hartford Hospital after an
Illness of two months.
Funeral services will be held at 1;30 pm.
Saturday in the Taylor Funeral Home ,Merrill,Wisconsin
Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park, Friends may
call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm Friday until the hour of services.
Mr. Pankow was born Feb. 21,1902, in Lincoln County, son
of Mr. and Mrs. William & Johanna Pankow.
He married October 10,1925 in Lincoln County to Josephine Anna Sell,
who died in 1942. Mr. Pankow was a farmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles Hale
of St. Bernice, In. Mrs. Winford Larry, Rubicon, and Mrs. Edward Curtis, Chicago, Ill. a son James Pankow, Town of Merrill; three brothers Fred Pankow of Oklahoma ,Les Pankow of Pine River and Harold Pankow of Park Place, Merrill; a sister Mrs. Ellsworth Annis Sr. of Scott; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
August William Pankow married Josephine Anna Sell and with that union they had four children.
