Mrs. Jennie Booker, wife of J.J. Booker, died in her home, 1108 West green street, Tuesday night at 8 o'clock. Her death followed an illness of several years. Mrs. Booker was born in Decatur Feb. 2, 1850 in a house on the present site of the Lincoln Square theater.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Teena Clements of Decatur and Mrs. Elsie Jewell of St. Louis; a brother, W.B. Queary of Sullivan and seven grandchildren.
