Mrs. Chamberlain Died Sunday At Age 92
---Mrs. Hattie L. Chamberlain, 92, 321 W. Everett st., Homer, widow of Samuel Chamberlain died in Albion Community hospital, Sunday morning, following three months illness.
---She was born in Homer May 3, 1876, the daughter of Laurel and Sarah (Brown) Findley and her life was spent in the Homer area where she attended the Quaker Mill school. The family lived in Concord for a short time and she continued her schooling in that village.
---On March 30, 1898, she was married to S. R. Chamberlain in Marshall who preceded her in death in 1964. Two sons, Otto and Donald Chamberlain, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Chamberlain was a member of the United Methodist church of Homer and its WSCS; and also of the Boston Aid Society.
---Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Enric (Myrtle) Hewitt, Homer, two sons, Joe Chamberlain, Concord, Rollo Chamberlain, Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Myda McCone, Pendleton, Ore.; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
