Marshall (MI) Evening Chronicle
Wednesday, May 6, 1936
---Charles Findley, 62, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pritchard in Homer Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock, following a two-months illness. He had been a farmer in the vicinity of Homer his entire life until three years ago when he retired and moved to the village. Mr. Findley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Florence Otey of Pontiac and Miss Ruth Finley[sic] of Detroit; two grandsons, Rex Otey of Pontiac and Lester Finley[sic] of Detroit; two brothers, Haskell and Oscar of Homer; and three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Southwell and Mrs. Hattie Chamberlain, both of Homer, and Mrs. Mida McCome of Montana. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
