Margaret Jane Willis VanHorn, daughter of William and Eveline Willis, was born September 27, 1855, and departed this life February 25, 1923, age 67 yrs., 4 months and 25 days. She had been helpless for more than a year, but did not seem to suffer pain although she was a great suffer from nervousness. She had been a member of church from girlhood and at the time of her death was a member of the First United Presbyterian of Cambridge. She was a regular attendant as long as she could go but for the last two years could not go much, although she loved to go to church and Sunday school and talked a great deal about her class; yet though our Hearts are sad and lonely we humbly bow to the will of our Father who doeth all things well and say not our will but Thine will be done. We wish in this way thank our neighbors and friends who assisted us in any way during the sickness and at the time of her death and her Sunday school for what they did during her sickness or at any time, and to Rev. Best for his words of comfort and to each and everyone who gave the use of their machines; and to the undertaker in way he conducted the funeral.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Willis and Kirby Willis and Family and sisters.
