J.M. Willis, a highly respected citizen of Liberty township, died at the residence of his father, William Willis, near Hermon church, Tuesday evening. Mr. Willis was about forty years of age, and had been a resident of Guernsey County all his life. His wife died about five years ago. Four children, three boys and one girl, survive their parents. He was a member of the Mt. Hermon U.P. church. He was buried Thursday, at Pleasant Hill cemetery in Jefferson township.
