Joyce Arceneaux, 61, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, November 25, 2010, in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery, Stanton with Rev. Dean Thomas, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2010, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

She was born on January 5, 1949, in Big Spring and married Curtis Arceneaux on April 21, 1970 in Ozona. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2009.

Joyce was a caregiver for over 30 years and was loved by all who knew her.

She was a member of Baptist Temple Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kim Arceneaux of Dyer, Tennesee; one sister, Susie Overby of Midland and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Bertha (Day) Gamel; two sisters, Allene Elliott and Patsy Gamel; and one brother, Leon Gamel.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Donna Franklin and family for their loving care.
