Manuel Antonio, a longtime resident of El Guique, passed away at the family home. He was survived by his wife Sylviana Griego Sena of the home; 4 sons: Alfred of Fairview; Tony of La Canova; Phillip of Hernandez; and Jose Leo of Las Vegas; 8 daughters: Elsie Quintana of El Llano; Mary Montero of California; Susie Atencio of Ancon; Tessie Martinez of Hernandez; Prescilla Atencio of Ojo Caliente; Alice Encinias of Questa; Loretta Archuleta of Fairview; and Genara Vigil of Guachupangue; 36 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many other relatives.

Funeral services were held 17 Sep 1983 at El Buen Pastor Assembly of God Church. Burial followed at the Loma Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris Quintana, Louie Quintana, Anthony Montero, Carlos Montero, Ricky Atencio, Joey Martinez, Jose Gallegos, and Greg Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers: Silver Quintana, Gilbert Atencio; Eloy Vigil, Joe Martinez, Freddie Encinias; and Roberto Archuleta.
