Funeral services for Edward M. Theis, 66, Marxville farmer for many years who died at his home Friday after an illness of six months, will be at 9 a.m. in St. Martin's Catholic church, Martinsville.

The Rev. Clarence Stoffel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at the residence at 8 p.m. Sunday. The body is to be taken from the Coyle-Acker fuenral home, Cross Plains, to the residence at 4:30 p.m. today.

Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Stuckmeyer; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Baier, Sauk City; Mrs. Raymond Ballweg, Madison; and Alice, at home; two sons, Elmer and Edward, at home; three brothes, Leonard, Cross Plains; John, Sun Prairie, and Mike, Madison; four sisters, Elizabeth, Mrs. Harvey Lochner, Mrs. Frank Schwab, and Mrs. Al Wipperfurth, Madison; and five grandchildren.
