John Theis, age 101, of Sun Prairie, died on Sunday, September 27, 1981 in a Sun Prairie Nursing Home. He was born July 3, 1880 in Martinsville, WI. He was a retired town of Sun Prairie farmer and a member of Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, Sun Prairie. He is survived by a son, Robert of Sun Prairie; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Helen) Langer of Marshall and Mrs. Gerald (Ellen) Reininger of Sun Prairie; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes in 1968. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, Sun Prairie. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Tuschen Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie on Tuesday, September 29 after 4 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:30p.m. WSJ 9/29/1981
