Mrs. Frank (Amelia) Jesina, sister of Mrs. Agnes Sipek and Mrs. Stella Dvorak of Vining, pass d away Thursday, April 18 at 1:30 a.m. at the home of her son, Fred Jesina , northeast of Toledo in Carroll township. Although she had been ill for several months, death came suddenly and unexpectedly. Mrs. Jesina was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dvorak. She was born on June 20, 1891 and was 61 years of age at time of death. She was born on a farm near Clutier now tenanted by the Ber Dell Dutoit family. She was the mother of five children.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Clutier Z.C.B.J. hall, conducted by T. B. Kubucek of Cedar Rapids. Burial was in the National cemetery southeast of Vining, Saturday p. m. Besides her husband, a brother Eman Dvorak also survives.
