Funeral services for Leola Mae Scott Murrell, 82, of Gainesville are set for Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel, with David Gray officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Leola was born Jan. 13, 1928 in Eastland to Arthur Edward and Lola Latham Scott. She went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at the Pecan Tree Manor Nursing Home.
Leola is survived by her sons, Bobby, Ronny, Casey and Derek Murrell; sisters, Opal Pittner and Maudene and her husband Benny Mason; grandchildren, Pam, Jennifer, Stormy, Josh, Devin and Payton and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon, Jarvis and Jade.
Leola was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lola Scott; husband, Billy Murrell; son, Larry Murrell; brothers, Frank, Cecil, Orville and Ernest Scott and sister, Lela Sconce.
Pallbearers will be Dwaine Scott, Jeff Scott, Tim Scott, Dale Scott, Lynn Foster and Benny Hooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Beverly Guttridge, Carrie Beam Robertson and Jean Shaw Moore.
