THACKERVILLE, Okla. — Services for Frank Leonard Scott, 86, of Thackerville, Okla., are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville with Johnny Reed and Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mr. Scott died June 13, 2006, at North Texas Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 13, 1919, in the Fish Creek Community of Cooke County to Arthur E. and Lola Latham Scott. On Aug. 1, 1940, he married Clara Imogene Teague in Gainesville. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Imogene Teague Scott; children and their spouses, Elaine and Delton Winters, Frankie and A.J. Ellison; Dolores and David Milam, Dale and Laujuana Scott, Tommy and Jeannie Scott, Ira and Ann Scott, Martha and Mark Smit, Harold and Rita Scott and Gary and Annie Scott; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Leola Murrell, Opal Pittner, and Maudene Mason and her husband, Bennie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cecil, Orville, and Ernest Scott; and sister, Lela Bell Sconce.

Pallbearers are sons, Dale, Tommy, Ira, Harold and Gary Scott; and nephew, Dwaine Scott.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons.

Visitation will be at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
