Funeral Held For Man, 59
Hoopeston - Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Hamilton Funeral Home for William Arthur Shaw, 59, who died at his home on McNeal Ave. Saturday evening. He had been in poor health for some time. The Rev. J. E. Evans officiated. Burial was in Floral Hill Cemetery.
Born Jan. 17, 1884, at Attica, Ind., he was the son of Amos and Electa Holston Shaw. On Sept. 16, 1922, he married Maude Justice at Watseka. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Wayne, three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Charles, of Elwood, Ill., Mrs. Ruth Bunyon, of Kenton, Ohio, Mrs. E.A. Woodbury, of Hoopeston, Charlotte Ambler, of Raymond, Ill., Same, of Covington, Ind., and Mrs. Harry Wilson, of DeKalb, Ill.
