Kenneth L. "Buckets" Beattie, 49, passed away Dec. 15, 1976, at the Boscobel Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He made his home with his sister, Dorothy Kreul, who cared for him during his illness. The youngest son of Frank and Bertha (Brechler) Beattie, Kenneth was born June 23, 1927 in Marion Township. He was baptized and confirmed at the Marion Church. He attended the Miller School. Kenneth held jobs at the Sanitary Creamery, Boscobel, and also at Fennimore Concrete Products for 18 years. Prior to his illness he was employed at Fennimore Butter & Cheese. Kenny was good-natured and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He is survived by a son, John, Dodgeville; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Roth, Coldwater, Mich.; a grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Edna) Mertz, Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Miller and Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Kreul, all of Boscobel; five brothers, Walter, Charles, Fred and Ralph, Boscobel and Raymond, Wauzeka. His parents and two brothers, Frank and Albert preceded him in death.
