Boscobel - Walter F. Beattie, age 72, passed away Thursday, April 30, 1987 at the Boscobel Nursing Home. Born January 3, 1915, in Marion Township. He was the son of Frank and Bertha (Brechler) Beattie. He is survived by three brothers, Raymond, Ralph and Fred, all of Boscobel; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Miller and Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Kreul both of Boscobel and Mrs. Edna Mertz, Fennimore. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Services will be Saturday, May 2, 1987 at 1 p.m. at the Thoni-Kendall Funeral Home, Pastor Paul Andersen officiating. Burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery.
