Funeral services for Pearl F. Varnado, 68, were held at 2 p.m. today in Catchings Chapel.
Mr. Varnado, a retired hospital employee, died Saturday in University Hospital in Jackson.
Born Oct. 13, 1903, in Pike County, he was a resident of Osyka at the time of his death.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Harrell Varnado; two step-sons, Nolan Earl Higgins, Baton Rough, La., Hughey Higgins, Baton Rouge; two step-daughters, Mrs. Gloria Jean Jerrell, DeRidder, La, Miss Donna Lynn Higgins, Osyka; two brothers, Dewey P. Varnado, Baton Rouge; Roy R. Varnado, Osyka; one sister, Mrs. Rose Strickland, Good Hope, La.....
