Maxie Lee Hudson, 69, of Swifton, died Feb. 16, 2009, at NEA Baptist Hospital. Born June 6, 1939, in Walnut Ridge, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Leonard and Giva Ida Adams; a brother, Leonard Adams; a sister Deleta Adams; a granddaughter, LaDonna Polston; and a grandson, Josey Robert Brown.
Survivors include her beloved, James Polston of Swifton; a brother, Kenneth Adams of Walnut Ridge; eight daughters, Gwen Finney of Hoxie, Tami Ford of Walnut Ridge, Judy Brannen of Jacksonville, Dena Brown, Amanda Harvey and Nyoka Oliphant all of Swifton, Lori Lacy of Luka, Ill. and Christy Chairs of Cabot; 20 grandchildren, Joe Polston, Jamie Polston Swartz, Tiffany Minchue Liscomb, Christopher Minchue, Joshua Minchue, Amber Earnest, Jesse Morrison Jr., Casie Morrison, River Brannen, John Brannen, Tristina Hudson, Ashley Lacy, April Lacy, Cody Harvey, Taylor Harvey, Kaleb Chairs, Gavin Chairs, Ashten Polston, Dalton Ford and Dustin Ford; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Bryan Chapel with Bro. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will be in Strangers Home Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Christopher, Minchue, Joshua Minchue, Jesse L. Morrison Jr., Cody Harvey, Taylor Harvey and Billy Earnest.
