Married: 28 MAR 1839 in Ware Co, GA
They were living in the Sweat's District of Ware County.
On Dec. 3, 1850,
Mary made her application to obtain bounty-land for her husband's Indian War services, and it was granted, and she was allotted 160 acres Jan. 16, 1852.
The bounty-land file in the National Archives shows that she never received the land-warrant but that it was delivered to her agent in Washington, and that her name was forged to it in Philadelphia to one John S. Miller, Nov. 2, 1852; the land laid in the State of Illinois.
