Henry Jordan was the son of David Jordan and Delphia MInchew, both buried in unmarked graves at the Old Minchew Tuten Cemetery ( aka Iron Bridge ) near Haywood in Ware County. GA. He married Elizabeth A, " Lizzie" Henderson ( 1835-1899, daughter of Berrien Sweat Henderson and Julia Ann Newborn. They had the following children;

1. JOHN J JORDAN. He was born on 23 Apr 1855 in WARE Co GA. He married RACHEL BERRIEN HYERS. They were married on 26 Feb 1880. He died on 01 Mar 1921 in PIERCE Co GA. Burial in RAMAH PIERCE Co GA.

2. ELIZABETH JORDAN. She was born Abt. 1857 in WARE Co GA.

3. JAMES BERRIEN JORDAN. He was born on 02 May 1859 in WARE Co GA. He married LUCINDA HYERS. They were married on 13 Oct 1881. He died on 29 Jun 1922 in PIERCE Co GA. Burial in RAMAH PIERCE Co GA.

4. JULIA ANN JORDAN. She was born on 11 Sep 1861 in PIERCE Co GA. She married ALEXANDER HAMILTON STEPHENS BENNETT. They were married on 20 Dec 1878 in PIERCE Co GA. She died on 18 Dec 1879 in PIERCE Co GA. Cause of Death was CHILDBIRTH. Burial in RAMAH PIERCE Co GA.

5. THOMAS SAMUEL SEABORN JORDAN. He was born on 08 Aug 1866 in WARE Co GA. He died on 31 Aug 1934 in PIERCE Co GA. Burial in RAMAH PIERCE Co

6. MARY JORDAN. She was born on 05 Jun 1867 in WARE Co GA. She was first married to JAMES RILEY CARTER in 1888. Following his death in 1902 she married MIDDLETON H "Mitt" HYERS. They were married on 31 Dec 1908 in PIERCE Co GA. She died on 23 Feb 1936. Burial in RAMAH PIERCE Co GA.

7. AMY JORDAN. She was born Aug 1872.

8. LEWIS "Luke" JORDAN. He married BELLE SWEAT. They were married on 27 Mar 1902 in WARE Co GA. He died on 07 Jul 1929. He was born in WARE Co GA.

9.DAVID M JORDAN. He was born Oct 1879 in PIERCE Co GA.

10. ABRAHAM JORDAN. He was born on 13 Dec 1877 in WARE Co GA. He died on 07 Aug 1941 in WARE Co GA. Burial in BEULAH PIERCE Co GA.
