Ada Fontenot Buie
Ada Fontenot Buie, 88, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Larose, died at 8:42 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Guy Buie; one daughter, Nancy Buie; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey M. " Jack" Buie; her parents, Belizaire and Melicia Perron Fontenot; five brothers, Noah, Simon, David, Billie and E.J. " Joe" Fontenot; and three sisters, Melicia Manuel, Avia Soileau and Ednis Ortego.
She was a member of the Altar Society and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
