Services for PFC. CALVIN A. WRIGHT, age 19, killed in action in Burma will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in Buena Vista Funeral Home. The Rev Fred Diese will officiate and burial will be in the National Cemetery with American Legion Post 5 conducting military services. Private Wright entered the service in March 1943 and was killed in action on Feb. 3, 1945.
Son of Emma May Wright and the late Herman B. Wright, he was born and educated in Robertson County, Tennessee. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1941, he was employed at Werthan Bag Corporation.
In addition to his mother, survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Herbert Pardue, Mrs. Tom Stark, Mrs. Frank Allen, and Miss Edna Ruth Wright, all of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mrs. Tom Pinson of Springfield, Tennessee; six brothers, Herman Edward, Howard, C.
