Charles E. Covington, age 66 died in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 26,2004. Arrangements are being directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral home of Wichita Falls. A private memorial service will be held by this family.

A lifelong resident of Archer City and Wichita Falls Charles was born to Lillian Eustace and J.W. Covington in Archer County, Texas on March 19,1938. he attended Archer City Schools where he played football during high school. He was a salesman at several Wichita Falls automobile dealerships, was sales manager for a Seymour car dealership, and was owner and operator of Crackertown Motor Company in Graham. He served on the board of directors for the Wichita Falls Individual Development Center (IDC) during its early years. Charles lived fishing , hunting, and was an avid sports enthusiast.

Mr. Covington is survived by his son, John Covington, of Alvin, Texas and two sisters, Glenda Quick of Bedford, Texas and Mary Sue Miller of Shattuck, Oklahoma.
