Of 1008 3rd St., Juniata, died at 7:05 a.m . today in the Altoona Hospital, following a brief illness. She was bom in Glasgow on Feb. 7. 1890, a daughter of William E. and Viola May (Cornelius) Miller, and married Robert W. Shaal, who died Dec. 25, 1944. Surviving are nine children, Roy and Howard of Juniata, Mrs. Elizabeth Bauscher of Bay Village, Ohio, Mrs. Joseph Ammerman of Riggles Gap, David M., with the Air Force at Kansas City, Mo., and Mary, Martha, Raymond and Harold, all at home; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Fedora Allen and Mrs. Olga Zimmerman of Sunnyvale, Calif. Mrs. Shaal was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Juniata, Delphi Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Juniata War Mothers and served as a Grey Lady at the Altoona VA Hospital. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Y ates Funeral Home. Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m . tomorrow.
