He married on Jan 20, 1787, Montgomery County, Virgina, to Lavinia Stephens.
Besides the children linked below, they are said to have had Moses (1795-1846) and Henry.
I went to Winters/Winter Cemetery in Owen County, IN, on September 20, 2020, and I found a tombstone that had William's name on it. William's birth date showed Feb. 9, 1767, and his death was listed as Feb. 2, 1856. The tombstone shows the first two letters of his wife's name-- "La." However, if this is Lavinia, then her parents listed on her tombstone are different than her parents listed on Find A Grave, because the tombstone showed that her parents first names started with a "J." and and "R." On the other hand, Find A Grave listed Lavinia's parents as Peter and Anna.
I do not have any docs confirming Kosciusko County, IN, as the place of death. This was listed on William's page when I started managing it. William is my 4 X great grandfather.
