W. J. MCCROSKEY
Valley View: W. J. MCCROSKEY, age 85, died at his home in the west part of town Wednesday evening, Aug. 16. He was one of the early settlers of the county, coming here 40 years ago from Missouri. He was a Civil War veteran, loyal southerner, and a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, three sons, CHARLES of New Mexico, D.D. of Vernon, and W. W. at Miles, Texas; daughters, Mrs. C. L. MILLER, Miss VANNIE MCCROSKEY and Mrs. CHARLES STEADMAN, all of Valley View.
