Mrs. Puckett was a sister of Walter Gross, of Sharpsville, and was known to many people in Sharpsville and other points in the county.
Mrs.Puckett, whose maiden name was Miss Emma Gross, was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gross of Prairie township in the Pleasant View neighborhood. She married James Puckett on July 30, 1899 and they resided in Sharpsville until about ten years ago when they moved to Russiaville and later to Kokomo. While in Sharpsville they
conducted a restaurant and grocery store Mrs. Puckett was forty-five years of age and is survived by the
husband, and three children Raymond,
Gladys and Howard, a brother, Walter Gross of Sharpsville and
a sister, Mrs. Arthur Hilligoss of near Sharpsville
