age 83 of Fairborn died Saturday, January 1, 2000 in Collinswood Nursing Center. She was born January 27, 1916 in Peebles, Ohio the daughter of James Aultman and Elsie (Tumbleson) Copas. She was a retired Clerk at Revco Drugstores in Fairborn. She is survived by a daughter, Nira Pottenger of Greenville, Ohio, 2 sons and a daughter in law, Dan A. Amon of Fairborn and Michael J. Sr. and Aleta Amon of Fairborn, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora B. "John" Amon, a son in law, Kenneth Pottenger, 2 sisters, Ardelia Kane and Mary Irene Woods, a brother, James A. Copas Jr. and a great granddaughter, Jennifer Pottenger. Friends may call in the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E Main Street, Fairborn, Ohio Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. where services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. with Dr. Fred Klatka and Rev. Steve White officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
