Obituary: Kansas City Star 6-18-1952

Mrs. Ruby V. Reames, 78 years old, widow of Ralph G. Reames, died today at her home, 5628 Charlotte street. She had been ill several months.
A native of Tecumseh, Mich., Mrs. Reames had lived here for more than fifty-two years. For more than twenty-five years her husband was in the grocery business here before his death and once served as president of the Retail Grocers association.
Mrs. Reames was a charter member of the Paseo Methodist church and was active in affairs there.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. Lillian Ewan of the home; two sons, Gardner Reames, 39 West Winthrope road, an account executive with the Russell Cromer Advertising agency, and formerly commercial manager fifteen years for WDAF, and Virgil E Reames, San Francisco, executive secretary of the San Francisco chamber of commerce; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
