Salvadore Facenda, 80, died last night at 9:45 o'clock at his home, 310 Henry Street, after a long illness.

Facenda was a native of Conturso, Italy, and had been living in Portsmouth for the last 50 years.

He was the son of the late Augusting and Mrs. Rachel Facenda and was the husband of Mrs. Ann Blasio Facenda.

Facenda was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church and the Sons of Italy Lodge in Portsmouth.

Besides his wife, he is survived by six son, Atelio J. Facenda, Albert J. Facenda, Emelia T. Facenda, William G. Facenda, Amadeus Facenda and Salvadore Facenda, Jr., all of Portsmouth; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ernest Ciola, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Raymond Bianco, of Brooklyn; a step-son, Frank S. Blasio, also of Portsmouth; a sister, Mrs. Angelino Boffa, Staten Island, N. Y.; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Richardson & Foster Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
