Anthony Debevec, 81, died March 19, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. The Pennsylvania native had lived in Florida for 30 years and North Carolina for 27 years before moving to Reidsville in 1998. He was a retired electrical engineer, working with Uninan Corporation. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet L. Debevec; a sister, Mary Debevec; and three brothers, Frank Debevec , Ludrick Debevec, and Matthew Debevec.
He is survived by a daughter, Rosetta Debevec of Savannah; four sons: Barry Debevec of Reidsville; Richard Debevec and Michael Debevec of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and Charles Debevec of Marathon, Florida; one sister, Lucy Bostaph of Kane, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Glennville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jeanette DeLoach, Memorial Chair, P. O. Box 188, Reidsville, Georgia 30453.
