Granger - Mrs. Jessie Owella Hewlett, 79, of East Third Street, Granger, died in her home Friday.
Mrs. Hewlett had been a Yakima Valley resident 65 years.
She was born in Tekamah, Neb. In 1912 she was married to Joseph Hewlett in Prosser. Mr. Hewlett died in 1971.
Survivors include a son, D.L. "Buzz" Hewlett of Zillah; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Armstrong of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Ruth McBride of Spenard, Alaska, Mrs. Grace Romple of Garfield, Mrs. Sarah Schonbachkler of Walla Walla and Mrs. Martha Hathaway of Glenwood."
