Jessie Grace Hewlett Rompel, age 90, of Boulder City, passed away Sept. 25, 2016 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1925, in Washington State to Joe and Jessie Hewlett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monte Rompel. Jessie loved to travel all around Nevada and loved a good crossword puzzle. She was a member of the Red Hats with whom she enjoyed many a get together. She cherished all the friends that she made at the Boulder City Senior Center where she was a volunteer for 10 years. Jessie is survived by her son, Randy; and sister, Martha Hathaway. There will be a private graveside service in Garfield, Wash., where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
