Justus William (apparently called "William") was born near Jeddo, PA, c. 1841. His parents' names are John (Johann) Boettner and Catherine Elisabetha, both of whom were born in Germany.

He married Christina Catharina Oberender, and one of their children was Louise Augusta Boettner, my husband's grandmother.

Justus William is listed in the 1910 US Census as being 67 years old and living in the household of his daughter, Margaret Malsberger, wife of Edward S. Malsberger, in Philadelphia, PA.

He and Christina had several children; the names I know of at this time are:

William E. Boettner
Margaret Boettner Malsberger
Louise Augusta Boettner Smith

He died in 1914 and is buried in the Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, with his son, William E. Boettner, and his grandson, William E. Boettner, Jr.

His wife, Christina, is also buried in Arlington, but I do not know at this time if their graves are contiguous.
