Bertha Irene Mounts, 91, of Goodland, died at 2:28 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2010, at Jasper County Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1919 the daughter of Jasper Buchanan and Lillian Audrey Morris. She married James Arthur Mounts on May 5, 1939 in Scottsburg. He preceded her in death in 1979. He was the son of Thomas Bryson Mounts and Ida Jane Tatlock.
She is survived by 3 sons, Kenneth James Mounts (wife: Robin) of California, Jerry Morris Mounts of Terre Haute, and Joe Frank Mounts of Goodland; one sister, Dorothy Meyers (husband: Robert) of Mooresville; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
