Marie M. Bartley, 93, of Mokane, Missouri died Monday, February 2, 2004, at her home.
She was born September 19, 1910, in Carrington, Missouri, the daughter of the late Homer B. and Ida (Garrett) Brooks. On October 13, 1928, she married Paris Bartley. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Paris "Monroe" Bartley of Fulton, Missouri and Forrest "Dutch" Bartley of Mokane, Missouri; a daughter, Marilyn "Kay" Humphrey of Mokane, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kenneth Bartley of Columbia, Missouri; Noland Bartley and Roland Bartley, both of Fulton, Missouri, Donna Eames of Moberly, Missouri, Pat Bartley and Darren Humphrey, both of Mokane, Missouri; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Bartley; two daughters, Carolyn Lehman and Janice Sue Bartley; a sister and three brothers.
Mrs. Bartley was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Hams Prairie Christian Church.
Services are 11:00am, Thursday, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Reverend John Swenson and Reverend Bob Vegiard officiating. Visitation is from 10:00am until the time of service.
Burial will follow in Hams Prairie Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Hams Prairie Cemetery.
