Arabella (called Belle) Jobe Bittle was born in Paris, Henry County Tenn. in April of 1848. She can be found in the census for McIntosh County, OK in 1910 at 62 as aged mother and called Bell. She cannot be found in the 1920 census however. We have proof that her son, William, died in 1910 after census was taken. We can only guess that she died between 1910-1920 as a result of what is shown in the census and she was aged in 1910. Her Bittle descendants in Checotah tell me that she is indeed in the Pierce Cemetery next to Ora May Bittle, who has a stone. Arabella (Belle) and son have only field stones on either side of Ora May's stone.
