Ralph was born in St. Clair on June 16, 1914 to the late William and Josephine Lavley.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army.
Ralph married Helen M. Wade on May 20, 1943.
He and Helen owned the former Gulf Station in St. Clair. He then opened the first taxi service in town and retired from the Ogden & Moffett Co.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen; a sister, Amelia Moffett; and one nephew, John Moffett.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin; and sisters, Ruth, Phyllis and Jackie.
Cremation has taken place with private family burial in Hillside Cemetery.
Arrangements are by L.C. Friederichs and Son.
