Charles F. Flowers, 84, Klamath Falls died July 29, 1997, in Klamath Falls.

He was born in Oklahoma to Thomas and Anna Flowers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.

In 1975, he married his wife, Clara, in Reno, Nev.

Mr. Flowers was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Shasta Way Christian Church.

Among his his interests were doing yard work, fishing and attending his grandchildren's ball games.

Survivors include his wife, Clara, Klamath Falls; daughter and sons-in-law, Georgia and Bob Smith, Artois, CA, Linda and Bill Mongtomery, Keno, and Evelyn and Larry Batsell, Klamath Falls; sisters, Myrtle Flowers, Lindsey, CA;, Zula Caywood, Strathmore, CA; and Callie Brawley, Porterville, CA; brother, Jefferson Flowers, Ocala, FL; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca and Lenora Flowers.
