Mrs. Braddy was a native of Montgomery County and she was a daughter of the late Charlie R. Palmer and the late Mrs. Maggie Garner Palmer. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.
Survivors include her husband, Van Braddy; one son, Gary Braddy, Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Winona Taylor Ailey; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Edgley, Mt. Vernon; one brother, Charles Palmer, Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, Byron Braddy and Mrs. Nancy McDonald, Soperton, Mrs. Diane Manning, Uvalda, Brian Braddy, Brandon Braddy and Brent Braddy, Mt. Vernon; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Braddy were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, Ga., at 3:00 Sunday afternoon February 6, 1994 with Rev. Jack Fernandez and Elder Manning Temples officiating. Burial was in the Adams Cemetery near Mt. Vernon.
Pallbearers were Byron Braddy, Brian Braddy, Brent Braddy, Brandon Braddy, Tracy Braddy, and John Braddy.
