DELTA-- Caroline Cottam Bennett died April 2, 1998 at Provo, Utah.
She was born to John and Maude Mcallister Cottam, August 24, 1924 at St. George, Utah. Caroline married Roldo Max Bennett on December 29,1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
They moved to the Toledo, Ohio area in 1945 where Caroline worked for Auto Lite. In 1946 they moved to Delta, Utah where she and Max raised their family. Caroline worked as the Delta City Recorder for a number of years. She was actively involved in the Primary and Sunday School for the LDS church. She had a love for reading, travel, music, and her family. She will be sorely missed.
Caroline is survived by her Husband: Max Bennett, Delta; Sons: Bob (Ilona) Bennett, Denver, CO; Jim (Vicky) Bennett, Salt Lake City; Four Grandchildren; Sisters and Brother: Kathleen Riding, Pioche, NV; Grace (Gladon) Dalton, Salt Lake City; Mason (Loral) Cottam, Mesa, AZ.
Services will be held Monday April 6, 1998 in the Delta 3rd Ward Chapel at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Nickle Mortuary on Sunday, April 5, from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Delta Cemetery.
