She finished two years at Dixie College
She was married to Gladen Gubler Dalton on October 29, 1941 in the St. George Temple by the newly ordained Apostle, Elder Harold B. Lee.
She is survived by two sons, Eric and (Claudia) and Douglas and (Arlene). She had fourteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She loved serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as Primary President, Stake Young Women's President, twice as Relief Society President, and Stake Sunday School Secretary. She served many years in the Salt Lake Temple with her husband. She served as the Saturday Supervisor at the Salt Lake Temple for many years.
Grace and Gladen served two missions. The first one was for twenty-six months in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where Gladen supervised the construction of the first L.D.S. Chapel in Rio. She served as the Financial Clerk. They served a second mission to Ventura, California.
Grace was a kind and gentle person who loved to help people. She never raised her voice in anger. She will be missed by all who knew her, but she is now with those she loved who preceded her in death.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Estates - Lake Hills, 10055 South State Street (100 East), Sandy, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 11400 South 700 West in Draper, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Interment: Crescent Cemetery, 11105 South State Street (100 East), Sandy, Utah.
