Funeral Services of Gerald V. Pulse In Plevna Tuesday; He Died In Alabama.

Gerald V. Pulse of Plevna, 45 years old, died Saturday, April 30, 1960, only a few hours after death came to his mother-in-law, Mrs. Clara Kigar. Mr. Pulse, a representative of the Bankers Life and Casusalty Insurance Company of Chicago, was found dead in his room at a hotel in Florence, Alabama. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

The body was returned and funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian Church in Plevna by the Rev. J. L. Shoemaker of Moberly.

Burial was in the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, southeast of Edina, where the mother, Mrs. Herschel Pulse, who died November 18, 1956, at the age of 62 years, is buried.

Mr. Pulse's wife, Mrs. Okal Kigar Pulse, and his father, Herschel Pulse, of near Novelty are left. He also leaves four brothers and two sisters, who are Harold, Robert H. and Benny J. Pulse of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Ronald H. Pulse of Laramie, Wyoming, and Mrs. Harold Miller of Plevna and Mrs. Herbert Mesmer of Bethel.

Born in Plevna August 5, 1914, Mr. Pulse was a son of Herschel and Edith Howerton Pulse, and he spent most of his life in Plevna. He and his wife to whom he was married February 19, 1950, formerly operated the Snack Shop there.
